The Corrs es otro de mis grupos favoritos. El 27 de noviembre de 2015 se lanzó su sexto álbum . Supuso el regreso del grupo diez años después del álbum Home, tras haber llevado a cabo sendos proyectos en solitario Andre y Sharon.

El título del álbum se extrae de una de sus canciones, "White Light", inspirada por el Club de los 27 y más concretamente por Amy Winehouse . El tema "Gerry's Reel" es una canción instrumental que hace referencia a Gerry Corr, padre de los hermanos Corr, fallecido en 2015. Por otro lado, Ellis Island hace referencia a la Isla de Ellis, cerca de la costa neoyorkina. Kiss Of Life fue co-escrita con Natasha Bedingfield y Unconditional con John Shanks.

La canción elegida para el blog es "White Light" donde se hace un homenaje a Amy Winehouse.No es el vídeo oficial del grupo pero me ha gustado, así que a visionarlo.

Fleetwood Mac fue uno de mis grupos favoritos durante mi adolescencia, por eso cuando escuché el tema Dreams en una nueva versión, me alegré del descubrimiento, pero la interpretación que oía no era de Fleetwood Mac, sino de otro de mis grupos favoritos de la actualidad: "The Corrs" y me doy cuenta de que aún no he posteado sobre ellos, así que hoy es la ocasión para hacerlo.

The Corrs es una banda irlandesa formada por cuatro hermanos, Andrea, Sharon, Caroline, y Jim Corr, que practican una combinación entre la música tradicional irlandesa, el pop contemporáneo y el rock. Durante su carrera han grabado éxitos como Runaway, Only When I Sleep, What Can I Do?, I Never Loved You Anyway, Dreams, Radio, Breathless, o Summer Sunshine, con los que han vendido unos 50 millones de discos. Tienen el título de miembros de la Orden del Imperio Británico. Han actuado en numerosos conciertos benéficos, como el Prince's Trust en 2004 y Live 8 junto con Bono en 2005. The Corrs se encuentran en pausa debido a que Jim y Caroline están ocupados con sus respectivas familias, mientras que Andrea y Sharon están llevando a cabo carreras en solitario.
