Moby - The perfect life

Hace años que descubrí la música de Moby, y la sigo desde entonces. Hoy os presento el tema "The Perfect Life " perteneciente a su último álbum, titulado "Innocents"

Moby es un compositor de música electrónica, nacido el 11 de Septiembre de 1965 en Harlem, New York. Luego se mudó a Darien, Conneticut. Su nombre real es Richard Melville Hall y el seudónimo viene de un apodo familiar, que viene de la novela Moby Dick de Herman Melville, su tatara-tatara-tio abuelo.

Su primer álbum «Moby» incluía el single «Go» que gano popularidad en muchas discotecas y se hizo hueco en las listas del Reino Unido. La canción es tan popular que Moby aun la toca en sus conciertos. «Go» es una pista progressive que usa acordes del «Laura Palmer’s Theme» de la serie de TV Twin Peaks

Su primer álbum para Elektra Records fue Everything Is Wrong, que obtuvo buena crítica pero menor éxito commercial. Le siguió un álbum hard rock/electronic llamado Animal Rights en 1996. En 1997, publicó I Like to Score, una colección de música incluida en películas. Entre esas pistas había una versión actualizada del James Bond theme usada en la película de James Bond El Mañana Nunca Muere.
