Short Court Style - Natalie Prass

Natalie Jean Prass (nacida el 15 de marzo de 1986  ) es una cantautora estadounidense de Richmond, Virginia .Vivió en Los Ángeles por un corto tiempo antes de mudarse a Virginia Beach cuando tenía alrededor de tres o cuatro años.  Comenzó a escribir canciones cuando estaba en el primer grado, y formó una banda con Matthew E. White en el octavo grado.   Después de la escuela secundaria, ella fue a Berklee College of Music durante un año antes de transferirse a Middle Tennessee State University en 2006.  Allí se inscribió en un programa de composición. Lanzó un EP, Small & Sweet , en 2009 y un segundo EP, Sense of Transcendence, en 2011.  Después de un casting con una demostración de video grabada en su iPhone, comenzó su carrera como teclista para la banda de gira de Jenny Lewis. 

El 27 de enero de 2015, Prass lanzó su álbum debut homónimo en Spacebomb y Columbia Records . Fue reconocido como uno de los mejores álbumes nuevos por el sitio web de reseñas musicales Pitchfork . 

Vuelve Natalie Prass, con otra novedad. El 26 de febrero de 2018, Prass lanzó el single "Short Court Style". Su álbum The Future and the Past se lanzará el 1 de junio de 2018.‘Short Court Style’, tiene un estilo  más tradicional. ‘Short Court Style’ contiene toda la delicadeza y elegancia que se encuentra en Natalie  con su  dulce y expresiva voz. El tema presenta un ritmo y un estribillo pegadizo (“round and round, ups and downs”), palmas y campanillas, esperemos que el resto del disco nos depare buenas impresiones como la que hoy os dejo.
