"My Favourite Time of Year" - Leigh Haggerwood

My Favourite Time of Year es el nuevo tema navideño que presento,es una canción de Navidad realizado por The Street Band Florin que fue escrita y cantada por el compositor británico Leigh Haggerwood en 2010. Su objetivo era crear una canción con melodías fuertes que se correspondería con los clásicos, y traer de vuelta la Magia de la Navidad que se sentía había estado ausente de las listas del Reino Unido durante décadas.Al escribir la canción, recordó su propia infancia en la década de 1980.

My Favourite Time of Year, se desarrolla alrededor de una melodía pegadiza, carol-como que teje arriba y abajo de las principales escalas de Eb y Bb. La canción  con la instrumentación que incluye muchos elementos tradicionales de Navidad, tales como carillones de orquesta, armonías corales y líneas de cuerda.

The Florin Street Band y muchos de los músicos que actuaron en la grabación también aparecen en el musical. Es un buen video navideño.
